MASSUK 2026

Martial Arts Sports Symposium UK

Karate – Injury Prevention, Treatment & Rehabilitation

MASSUK 2026

On Saturday 17 October 2026, MASSUK brought its Martial Arts Sports Symposium to the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City. Speakers from orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, sports and exercise medicine, sports science and elite coaching spent the day on one subject: how karate injuries happen, how they are treated, and how athletes get back to competing.

The Symposium was awarded 6 CPD hours by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Alongside it, a full Karate Training & Development Camp ran from morning to close, led by Jordan Thomas. Delegates came through in groups to watch elite athletes and coaches at work: the clinical discussion and the sport itself, in the same building, on the same day.

Thank you to everyone who spoke, coached, competed, sponsored and attended.
