MASSUK Symposium

By registering for the Martial Arts Sports Symposium UK organised by MASSUK Ltd:

We will endeavour to deliver the Symposium as set advertised. However, we reserve the right to:
  • make reasonable amendments to the times, dates and content of the Symposium and any other details relating to the Symposium;
  • cancel all or any part of the Symposium at any time.

We accept no responsibility for the personal injury or illness of any attendee or delegate. 

We accept no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to valuables or personal property. 

Disclaimer

The Symposium and Symposium Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. Other than as stated in these Terms, we make no (and expressly exclude all) conditions, representation or warranties, express or implied, whether by statute, common law, or otherwise, to the greatest extent permitted by law.  

MASSUK Ltd relies on authors of articles, contractors and third-party data providers to confirm the accuracy of information presented and to describe generally accepted practices and therefore MASSUK Ltd cannot warrant as to its accuracy or that this meets all or any requirement for professional development. You should be aware that professionals in the field may have different opinions. Because of this fact and also because of regular advances in medical research MASSUK Ltd recommends that you independently verify any information you choose to rely upon. It is your responsibility to make your own professional judgements. 

Any personal information you provide will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy and any applicable data protection for example you consent to the sharing of personal information including name, email and job title with Industry Sponsors following the Symposium. 

Should you wish to withdraw consent you may do so at any time by emailing contact@massuk.co.uk

If you choose to participate in the “Try Taekwondo” session, you do so at your own risk, we (“MASSKUK Ltd”) do not accept responsibility for and is not liable for any injuries sustained or damage to property.  

Intellectual property and use of Materials
  • You agree not to reproduce, distribute, copy, create a database, translate or modify the Materials, create derivative works, or in any way commercially exploit the Materials without our prior written consent.
  • We reserve the right to reproduce images and video recordings taken at the Symposium in order to promote in print, on the website and on social media.
  • You give us permission and full rights to the use of images resulting from the photography/video filming of MASSUK meetings.
Your obligations

You agree to comply with these Terms, the Registration Page, all applicable laws and regulations in relation to the Symposium, Symposium Platform, Venue and use of the Website and any further instructions issued by us at any time. 

You must ensure that all the details submitted to us on the Registration Page are accurate and up to date. Please notify us if any of your details require updating. 

Your use of the Website, the Materials and the Symposium shall not infringe the rights of any other person or body. You will not directly or indirectly: 

  • Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others;
  • Publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful or objectionable materials or information; or
  • Do anything unlawful
We shall be entitled to remove any delegate from the Symposium and/or Venue if in our reasonable opinion their behaviour or attendance at the Symposium or Venue: 
  • Breaches the Contract; or
  • Does, or is likely to, jeopardise the experience of other delegates, or harm the reputation of MASSUK or the Symposium.
